Foreign Students

The best way to learn English is immersion and a Home Stay is ideal.

I host foreign language students of all ages and abilities in my own home in Christchurch for one week to a month throughout the year.

​

Students not only receive expert, one-to-one tuition, but are able to combine this with a holiday on the south coast of England.

​

We live a few minutes from the sea in a beautiful part of England. Our foreign students have their own double bedroom and their own bathroom.

​

In the summer there is lots to see and do in our area - if you enjoy water sports then we have 7 miles of sandy beaches as well as the chance to go kayaking, wind surfing, and sailing.

​

If you prefer the countryside then we also have the beautiful New Forest National Park close by as well as the Unesco World Heritage area known as the Jurassic Coast. There are lots of opportunities for walking, cycling or horse riding.

Our foreign students benefit from one to one tuition in an informal and fun atmosphere. The emphasis is on making learning enjoyable.

A range of bespoke hourly lessons, meals and excursions can be provided and you or your child will have a wonderful, memorable experience.  Your spoken English, comprehension and written language will improve significantly.

A range of sporting activities can be arranged during your stay including:

Kayaking, windsurfing, surf boarding, kite surfing, walking, cycling, horse riding, days out and excursions to local attractions, visits to the beach or the forest.

We provide tailored packages depending on how many hours lessons that you require during your stay and whether you would like us to arrange any other activities or excursions on your behalf. 

​

We can also provide a pick up and drop off service from local airports such as Bournemouth and Southampton or from ferry terminals such as Portsmouth, Poole or Weymouth.
